Accommodations
A note about the hotels - many accommodations in Cape May have a few rather inconvenient policies that we want to make you aware of:
1. Almost all require a two-night stay. The Palace, listed below, does not have this requirement and a few rooms at the Alcott may be available first-come, first-served for Saturday night.
2. Most hotels would also not allow us to block rooms. The Alcott does have rooms blocked off, as does the Palace (see below).
3. Most hotels require one night's deposit for the reservation, which is unlike many hotel policies of just giving them your credit card number.
We know these policies can be aggravating , but luckily Cape May is so charming, it is easy to forgive it these transgressions. You may also want to try hotels in nearby towns (such as North Cape May, Rio Grande or Wildwood), B & B's in Cape May or rentals of small houses (http://www.capemay.com/accommodations.html) . If you are having a difficult time finding a place to stay, please email us and we will help! We definitely recommend booking early!!

Hotel Alcott
www.hotelalcott.com
The Hotel Alcott is the most convenient place to stay for the wedding since it is the location of the reception, but does have the unfortunate clause of a 2-night minimum stay (a common theme among Cape May hotels). They did say they would allow for a small number of one-night stays, so please call early if you would like one of those rooms. There are a variety of room types at the hotel, prices range from $130-$250 per night. Check-in 2 pm, check out 11 am, continental breakfast included.
Please call (609) 884-5868 for reservations.
Update: Now that we are so close to the wedding, I have heard that some guests are having luck getting a one-night stay. So if you have not made reservations yet, give this a shot for a Sat stay only!
The owners of the Alcott will also be managing the Ocean Club Hotel, which just opened this summer. http://www.capemayoceanclubhotel.com/

The Palace Hotel of Cape May is an alternative to the Hotel Alcott. The price is $99 per night for their standard room (there are also larger rooms and ones with an ocean view available for $119 and $169) and there is no 2-night minimum (yay!). The hotel is located just over a mile from the Alcott and right on the beach.
Please call (609) 898-8100 for reservations and mention the Kisiel-Davis wedding.
